Occupational and physical therapists travel to meet clients at their homes throughout Northern Colorado. Our mobile outpatient practice provides expert and advanced treatments in places our clients are most comfortable like their homes, senior centers and other locations clients may spend time and have trouble. For example, if our client is just learning how to use a walker we can help not only at the house, but maybe at church or the store. Our services are uniquely thorough and extensive which improves our clients' success in therapy. Our driving retirement program helps families and clients transition into life without driving via assessments, family coaching and planning for the future. In addition to our treatments for home and community safety we offer expert and certified therapy services to treat urge incontinence, stress incontinence, bowel incontinence, urine retention and pelvic pain in the privacy of clients' homes. |

This professional guidance can help people dealing with dementia, choose facilities for family members, guide care coordination for people living at home, advocate for patients with medical professionals, faciltate with funding options for care, educate on medication options and navigate through the trials of aging. A care manager can also look after a loved one for a family when they are out of town. Covell Care and Rehabilitation accepts Medicare, Medicaid, Humana and other insurance plans. |

Colorado native, Krista Covell-Pierson, OTR, BCB-PMD is the leader of this dynamic and talented company. She has degrees in social work and occupational therapy, as well as her certificate in dementia care and certifcate in biofeedback for pelvic floor disorders. Krista continues to provide treatments to clients while also doing public speaking on care provision, home safety, incontinence, Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's Disease and other topics for the community at large. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, the National Board of Certification in OT, the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance and the Elder Care Network of Larimer County. She has received the Fieldwork Educator of the Year in 2013 from Colorado State University for her commitment to helping students become outstanding Occupational Therapists. She is also a support group facilitator for the Alzheimer's Association. |
