Meet the occupational therapists behind Thrive! Therapy and who are bringing mobile outpatient services to the Denver community.

Jenny Junker, OTD

Jenny Junker received her OTD from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska in 2012. Since then, she has worked in skilled nursing and outpatient settings focusing on treating older adults. She has most recently worked as a rehab director at an independent living, assisted living, and memory care community and served as a clinical lead in working with individuals affected by Parkinson’s disease. In addition, she works as adjunct faculty in Creighton University’s distance program at Regis University in Denver and enjoys sharing her passion for occupational therapy with students. Jenny serves as the newsletter editor for the Occupational Therapy Association of Colorado. She has extensive training in working with individuals affected by Parkinson’s disease including LSVT BIG and PWR! (Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery) techniques. She enjoys wellness programming and interacting with older adults through health education, therapeutic events, and community integration activities.

Kylie Sleeth, OTR/L

Kylie Sleeth, OTR/L earned her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina in 2013. She was an Emerging Leader for AOTA from 2015-2016 focusing on student engagement, participation, and resources for new practitioners. She is currently the Professional Development and Education Chair for the Occupational Therapy Association of Colorado. Kylie’s most recent experience is working at an independent living, assisted living, and memory care community. She is also a lab assistant for Creighton University’s distance program at Regis University in Denver. Kylie has the passion for working with the older adult population with experience in inpatient rehab, home health, skilled nursing facility, stoke rehab, and outpatient therapy. She has completed the Certified Living in Place Professional training. She enjoys being a Fieldwork Educator, leadership at the state and national level, running, and spending time with her family.

To receive services, you do not need to be ‘home-bound’ as some agencies
require. We accept Medicare, Medicaid and most other insurances.
